Expectation brings to manifestation the blessings of God upon His people.
Your problem or challenge is not the main issue, it is what you do, where you go & what you do about the problem.

Looking into the life of David, we note the following striking points

1) David never allowed his foundation or present condition to rob him of his destination.
Ezekiel 37:5 (NKJV) - Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

Where you started does not matter, what matters is where you are going. Your current situation does not determine the conclusion of your life. Sometimes when God wants to lift you, it comes with challenges.

2) David never allowed the perception and opinion of men to be the determination/conclusion of his destiny. Judges 11:1 (NKJV) - Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, but he was the son of a harlot; and Gilead begot Jephthah.  

3) Starting small is okay (normal), but remaining small is abnormal.

David was a man who understood the secret of ending strong, and the secret is DIVINE PRESENCE. Abiding in the presence of God makes the difference. We must learn to be like David.

*Ponder on this: Ask yourself, is God still with you?

Lord, do not pass me by. Visit me and do something new in my life.
