Venerable Emmanuel Babatunde Olorunfisayo Oyesina was born into the family of Mr. Emmanuel Sunday and Mrs Winifred Oluwakemi Oyesina of Ibadan in Oyo state on February 26, 1978.
He attended Omolewa Nursery/Primary Institution, Oritamefa, Ibadan from where he proceeded to Government College Ibadan, GCI.
After his secondary education, he proceeded to the Polytechnic Ibadan to read Mass Communication, where he bagged a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication.
He was later posted to Kwara state for his National Youth Service Corp. While in Ilorin, he did his primary assignment with the Broadcasting Corporation of Kwara state (Radio Kwara).
After his youth service, he gained admission into the University of Ilorin to read Law, where he bagged a Bachelor of Law, LLB. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Abuja campus and was consequently called to the Nigerian Bar
He holds a Diploma in Theology from the Ibadan Diocesan School of Theology.
He was the Pioneer President of the Anglican Student Fellowship, The Polytechnic Ibadan, at the then Adeseun Ogundoyin Campus, Eruwa, Oyo state. He later became the Vice President of the Oyo State chapter of the Fellowship. He served as the Prayer Secretary and later became the Diocesan Youth President, of the Ibadan Diocesan Youth Forum.
He was fully active in the Diocesan Missionary Society of Ibadan Diocese.
He was made deacon in Ibadan Diocese in December 18, 2005 by the Most Rev'd. Dr. Joseph Akinfenwa, the Lord Bishop of Ibadan Diocese, after which he proceeded to Ilorin , Kwara state for his NYSC and consequently Law Programme.
He was later priested by the Lord Bishop of the Diocese of Kwara ,Most Rev'd. Dr. Olusegun Adeyemi in 2007. While in Ilorin, he served as assisting priest at Mount Olives Chapel, Tanke. He also served as the Anglican Corpers' Fellowship Chaplain and later the Diocesan Youth Chaplain while in the Diocese of Kwara.
He was seconded to the Diocese of Kubwa, Abuja in 2009 because of his Law School programme.
He has served as assisting priest in the following churches in the Diocese, All Saints Church, Bwari, St. Bartholomew Cathedral, Kubwa, Christ Church, Saburi and St. Andrew's Church, 2/1, Kubwa.
He equally served as the Vicar of St. Mathew's Church, Phase 4, Kubwa, from where he was transferred to St. Michael's Church, Airport as the Vicar and the Supervising Priest of Airport Archdeaconry.
He equally served as the Youth Chaplain of the Diocesan AYF, Kubwa. He is the author of the book; "The Anglican Youth".
He is presently the Chaplain of the New Christian Herald, a magazine of the Diocese of Kubwa .
He was elected the Clerical Synod Secretary in 2012, a position he occupies till date.
He was preferred Statutory Canon by His Lordship, Rt. Rev'd. Dr. Duke Timothy Akamisoko in 2014 and consequently Venerable on December 19, 2017.
He is a member of the APCON, NIPR, NUJ, NIM and NBA.
He resumed as the Vicar of St. Andrew's Church, 2/1, Kubwa on March 1, 2018.
Venerable Oyesina is married to Veronica Tolulope Oyesina (Née Adelore) and the union is blessed with two great soldiers, Timothy Ifeoluwaposimi and Gideon Ireoluwaposimi.
